Between the Worlds

An Evening with

The Spirit Mushroom

MARCH 28, 2025

7:00pm-9:15pm

THE CAVEWOMAN WAY

6209 Lee Hwy, Chattanooga

An invitation into the World of Mushroom Spirit medicine

If you've ever been curious about the spiritual and mystical side of mushrooms, Reishi offers a gentle yet meaningful journey into the world of mushroom spirit medicine. I personally consider Reishi to be a soul friend, and I would love to share the medicine and magic of this ancient wisdom keeper with you.

Reishi has long been revered as a guardian of the unseen world and the protector of the spirit. Across various cultures it has been known as The Spirit Mushroom, The Mushroom of Light, The Spirit Plant, and The Gateway to Immortality.

There are many ways to work with this mushroom. but journeying with Reishi in ceremony is very special. The altered state experienced with Reishi is typically dreamy and meditative - some find themselves just beyond the veil of normal time and space in the realm of soul, spirit, or their ancestors.

During a ceremony, you may receive insights or guidance, reconnect with your intuition, or find yourself in a space of expansive love and belonging. However, unlike an intoxicating substance, a ceremonial dose of Reishi could be likened to cacao or kava- it is an ally that helps us open our hearts, expand our senses, and deepen our connection with self, community, or the divine.

This gathering is perfect for people working with mushrooms spiritually for the first time as well as those who already have a relationship with Reishi. I hope you'll join me for this intimate, soulful evening!

FAQs & Refund Policy

Is Reishi safe?

Reishi is consumed as a health tonic, supplement and tea by many people. There are very few risks associated with Reishi and it is generally regarded as safe as a culinary mushroom such as portobello or shiitake. With that said, contact us before registering if you have severely low blood pressure, are taking blood thinners, or will be having surgery the week following this ceremony.

Is Reishi a Magic Mushroom?

Reishi is a legal medicinal mushroom that can be purchased online, in health food stores and foraged in our local forests. It is not classified as a psychedelic mushroom and it is legal for people of any age to consume it.

What will happen during a journey?

After drinking our ceremonial tea, we will all relax and open ourselves up to the wisdom, guidance, and medicine of this amazing mushroom. Most people will choose to lay on blankets or yoga mats and cover their eyes. Experiences can range from a gentle, relaxed, meditative state to a dream-like, visionary state. Unlike intoxicating substances, Reishi enhances and deepens our awareness and perceptions rather than causing dissociation or loss of control.
