"What in your life is calling you? When all the noise is silenced, the meetings adjourned, the lists laid aside, and the wild iris blooms by itself in the dark forest, what still pulls at your soul? In the silence between your heartbeats hides a summons... do you hear it?” — Rumi
Council is more than deep listening. This ancient practice is a potent and mystical mix of story, trust, community and wild belonging. The Way of Council has roots that span the globe and it seems to profoundly impact almost everyone who experiences it. Together we bear witness to one another's unfolding journey, share from our own hearts, and practice a sacred way of communicating that extends beyond the human world into the realms of Nature and Soul.

Council offers an invitation to explore the inner dimensions of self, tend to the wild one within, and remember who were truly are.

In the liminal space of the Spring Equinox, we will gather in sacred community to connect with Nature, dip our toes into the soulstream, and immerse ourselves in the powerful process that is Council.
"“If I could start again, I would install an altar within me. I would place the most sacred object inside it: my own heart. If I could start again, I would know that the only cathedral I’ve ever needed to find, to enter, to return to again and again, is this humble red hermitage, this mystical space that holds all the answers."
~ Meggan Watterson

Attendance & Schedule
Participants must participate in the entire program, arriving no later than 5pm ET on Thursday and staying through the end of our program on Sunday at 11am ET. (Friday and Saturday activities start at 9am and last through the evening and night hours, however breaks will be offered for rest, integration and self-care).
Food Information
The dinner menu will be provided 2 weeks before the immersion. We can accommodate vegetarian and gluten free diets that are requested during registration. Participants are responsible for providing their own breakfasts and lunches. We recommend food that is easy and quick to prepare, as the kitchen is small and meal breaks are not very long. The kitchen includes all standard kitchen appliances.
Lodging Options
Group Yurt
Photos below for reference. Our group yurt includes a variety of glamping-style bed options such as ibeds and cots. While there are enough for everyone, specific furniture/beds will be first come first serve. Participants are also welcome to bring their own cot or small floor mattress. Our yurt has a kitchen and bath as well as electricity.

Camping
To connect even deeper with nature, we invite you to consider camping right outside of our group yurt. You'll be able to see the moon and stars as well as hear the night sounds while still having access to indoor amenities such as the bathroom and kitchen.
Location
We will wander, learn, explore and sleep on a 92-acre Eco-Farm among Blue Ridge foothills in Talking Rock, GA. The property is mostly forested, with a heart-center comprised of fields, orchards, and a magical mountain spring. The address, directions, and additional details will be provided after registration.
